Beatflux Volcano 2. cryophonik Sound Toys Filter Freak is excellent and would be my top choice, but I'd also recommend checking out: - FabFilter Volcano 2 - Tone2 FilterBank 3 - U-He Filterscape - Vengeance Philta XL I believe that there are demos available for all of these. And, Filter Freak that I mentioned above requires an iLok. Realistically, there are only so many filter shapes, and in the mix, its almost impossible to tell which one is which. On top of which, most synths these days can take an audio signal and use their filters to process it, so I would think that everyone has at least one or two really good multimode filters in their arsenal.
