I log onto mixxnet when my show airs on #etn.
why not just name the channel #tranceaddict? ill start it up for you guys.
irc users.
/server irc.mixxnet.net
/join #Tranceaddict
ill leave myself on there until i turn off my pc. see you guys there, its up to us to make it a decent place D;
for people that want to go on irc and dont know how:
Download mIRC here
its a free client, and when the trial expires you can still use it for free. put in your details in the options, and type my commands up there to get in, /server /join etc.
if you need help post questions. |

Advanced users for #tranceaddict @ Mixxnet
-all users will be given half ops, they just have to register their nick on mixxnet.
-the advantages of this is mainly hiding your IP but ofcourse this not necessary at all, only if you want half op status in the channel.
First you have to register your name. an easy command.
/msg NickServ REGISTER YOURPASSWORDHERE YOUREMAILHERE
-you get half ops in the channel now, but please note. you have to type the following command to log in everytime.
/msg NICKSERV IDENTIFY YOURPASSWORDHERE
-so just stick it in your OPTIONS > PERFORM and it will be done automatically every time ;)
if you want to hide your IP with a hostmask continue here, but its totally not necessary.
when on mixxnet, join #help and type !vhost in chat, boom you're done forever, you can leave the channel. |
