Maybe he is refering to the fact that there are trillions of misslabeled tracks out there with the tag "DJ TIESTO".
No wonder Tiesto became so big in no time. Alot of uninformed people who can't tell the difference between a DJ and a producer must have thought that Tiesto produced millions of tracks simply becase they had his name on it.

I'm sick of these threads were references to older tracks are substituted by all the popular tracks of the era. This includes "trance classic nights" where DJ's play Carte Blanche>Out Of The Blue>Gouryella>1998>Greece 2000 in no particular order. This is what gradually eroded away the tracks appeal. Hardly anybody mentions a word about the underrated stuff, like Mekka - Diamondback, Z2, Lieb, Vincent Chicane, The Auranaut or (insert other underrated producers here).

Reminds me of a discussion I had with a mate of mine, whose favourite track of all time was "Tiësto - Lord Of Trance". After pointing out that the track was just wrongly labelled and is actually called "Lord Of Tranz ft. DJ Hoxider - Trancestors" from the Magik Two mixalbum, he still kept on persisting and claiming that it MUST be a Tiësto track, because he IS the lord of trance :stongue:

And I removed the links already if you look.

Rather annoying isn't it? Stop being such a condescending prick to people and you might get a better attitude back.

PS. Pm Oesterzone & Ask her to make little troll babies with you.

These are hardly underrated. I mean just check out the number of compilations tracks by these were on. I can name much more underrated producers from that era than those.

Can you? :) This is is about as deep as I've dug so far, some of Tilt's stuff is really rare and hard to find for purchase but I've found a lot of good songs. What are some others(artists)?

To be honest, they were right off the top of my subconscious head. Theres definetly a load of other producers that are actually underrated compared to examples that I posted (except for The Auranaut, those productions are unique down to a Q), but you've gotta admit, even though they have em on alot of compilations, they still do not get whored out to this day like the ones I mentioned before.
