Have never missed a Family Day.. was considering not doing this one but I think I might reconsider. This was be the last chance I give Calderone to win me back as a fan after his pretty horrible recent podcast and Footwork set! :p

I know you're joking, but his podcast isn't supposed to be peak hour 6am tunes, he meant it to be more 10am party winding down styles. It works really well.

I'm interested to see Victor in a big room. Usually I've seen him in warm rooms like Cielo, NYC, Stereo, Montreal, Miami etc. Big room Calderone is pretty rare in these parts, so should be fun...

Circa?

I really liked him a lot that night, espcially towards the end of his set.

Same here. Seen him once in Buffalo in a small room w/ small crowd and it didnt do it for me.

it also depends on his set time, if he is on before dubfire he might play more like he did on the podcast's and slower bpm techno, but if he is coming on after dubfire say at like 5am then hide yo kids and hide yo wife cause will get ugly ;)

CiRCA was a big venue, each room wasn't that big tho.

That's the same as not seeing him at all.

Yeah I hope he closes, but it's probably not going to happen. Also, he's playing at District 36 the night before...wonder how that will affect him.

what is your definition of a big room?

Big room to me isn't a size of a venue, it's a type of style of DJing as well.

Big room style is less risk, more "hits" because you have a lot of casual partiers and you can't experiment like you would be able to do at Stereo.

I always see Victor at Stereo so I usually get to see his full range of sounds in a set, so in a big room he won't really have time to do that. I'm curious as to what he's going to play.

I thought that set of his was subpar. Sanchez stole the show that night!
