This is the track in it's latest revision.

I've updated the track to have a full, complete arrangement and updated and changed a whole mess of crap. I'm really happy with how it came out, the atmosphere is super dark and eerie and the whole track just bangs.

Woot!

Anyway, I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL TEXT FROM THE POST

This is just a little experiment I'm working on, I like how it sounds but I'd like a second opinion, I'm actually pretty sick right now and everything sounds like it's under water to me so the mix might be off because of that.

I tried to go for something that would sound huge in a club, the breakdown is really wet and "epic" sounding but the actual hook section is dry and has a lot of sub bass, and some groovy percussion.

I dunno.

Anehways. Tell me what you think.

Love the intro riff. When the strings come in it sounds really awesome. The brakedown and where the beat comes in is alright, I love the percussions and the sub bass, but I'm not diggin the lead on it.
Mise
cool intro Seamdroid. I would probably try to cut some of the 200hz freq area, and balance it with the uper mids 2khz 5khz, a find them a bit high. just my personal opinion. Also I may cutoff t below 30hz with a 36/24db filter.

good work!

Oh, that pert is seriously unfinished, I probably should have mentioned that, sorry. It doesn't really have much a lead, haha. What I was trying to go for was a sort of vocal sound but it didn't work out. Kind of... Pleasurekrafty. A nonsensical vocal hook thing that people "sing" along to, haha. It was supposed to sound like "EE - EE -EE - EE - EE -EE - EE - EE -EE -EE -EE -EE -AAH -AAH" but it didn't really come out that way, I think I might do something with a vocoder. I dunno. Glad you enjoyed the intro!

Thanks man :) Yeah, my hearing is a little off because I'm sick, it makes everything sound muffled =|

Thanks! Yeah, the hook/drop isn't finished at all, as I said, but famous would be nice! :)

i'll give this a listen on the way home from work....can't hear too much on my crap speakers, plus the servers in my office sound like vacuum cleaners....but for now what I can hear of that intro melody...I like!!! Already know more layers, builds, etc...are needed...so yea...back to you later....
Illumin
left comments on your soundcloud....i'm not too sure if I'mfond of the drums and rhythm section....a little too tribal and dark sounding, to me it doesn't flow too well after the intro....maybe more towards a tech/electro/trance riff there instead...love the intro though....build it!!!

The part of the track where the drums play is really good - groovey and very hooky.

The lead in synths were pretty nice too.

I updated the track, it's now full length and it sounds huuuge :)

It's got a dark and eerie vibe to it.
Mise
sounding much much better, congratulations!

Illumin
sounds great man! overall sound is nice! sounds less tribal to me...think thats just from mixing and eqing...nothing different right? I think it's a little repetitive after you come out of the break with the pitch shifting...would be a great area for some drum or fx fills....nonetheless...awesome!
