In early 2003 Bjorn teamed up with a fellow Swedish producer for a collaboration. The track was called Havannah – Havannah’. Havannah was played by top DJ’s like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, The Thrillseekers, Kyau & Albert, Ronski Speed, and many others.
After this collaboration Bjorn continued making his own tunes and few years later he launched the “Akesson” project which made a big impact on Above & Beyonds radioshow ‘Trance Around The World’.
In early 2008 the track ‘Perfect Blue’ was introduced to the world as ‘Tune Of The Week’ by Armin van Buuren on his world renowned radio show ‘A State Of Trance’. Both Sunchaser and Perfect Blue were very well received by the trance community and appeared on several globally released compilations mixed by world class DJ’s. These monster trackes were released by huge record companies such as Sony BGM, EMI and Ministry Of Sound.
This is surely the beginning of a very successful music career for the talented young man.Today you can find Bjorn on his way out to the clubs all over Europe making his epic DJ appearances. Do not miss this exclusive San Francisco & U.S.A. debut of BJORN AKESSON!

Try going out to clubs in San Jose for edm. SJ is a great place to live and work but not for nitelife or clubbing.
In terms of music who knows what the dj's playing, poor programming & mixing whatever kinda deal. Short opening hours.
Sound system is not up to club standards or are not tuned properly that could have pierce your ear.
Most of the crowds' there to pick up on the ladies instead of going to listen to music, enjoy the nite & dance.
That's why Toons is closed! WET will be soon, and more SJ clubs are clueless.
Unless proper edm dj's there to make it a little better.
I would rather go to SF for my edm fix, longer club hours, crowds are much more chill and friendly. Better djs & world class artist, music, programming & mixing.
SF clubs have great sound systems and better tuned that doesn't hurt your hearing by the end of the nite.
SF is NorCal hub for edm if you're not familiar yet, plug in and enjoy ;)
