I hammered ASOT 2006 whole week! Really love this, some great deep summer tunes and real trance classic there... Incolumis - One With Sanctuary, My All, Your Loving Arms, Dilruba, White Sand, Cold Drink Hot Girl and awesome Envio - For You!!! Or Arisen, Exactly, Red Woods, Above, Sail, Dream Makers on CD2.
It's such a perfect CD. Nowadays when Arksun or Envio are out of trance we still have Mat Zo or Arty, or even Orjan Nilsen, or The Blizzard. Armin should pay more attention on these guys productions. So I still have hope that we will hear some ch00ns from them instead Shogun, First State or Dash Berlin craps in the show.
Nowadays mostly I really enjoying Armin's LIVE sets but want him back to little more deeper stuff. He can do it but maybe he's too lazy now?

I dont know man I think there just isnt artists like Arksun for example around. The deep emotive trance even Schulz doesnt play much of now. Its all about the club sound which is why we love Armin love so much.
I think guys like Arty and Mat Zo are good but they arnt on the level for me of the other people you said.
Maybe it is lazyness. The fanboys seem to lap up the Gash Berlin, epic vocal into tech bassline stuff. |
