I hate Traktor now.
Don't get me wrong i was a Traktor fan boy.

The free version is as limited as Windows Movie Maker..

You can't even use MIDI controllers :wtf:




However the pro version looks pretty damn good.

I've messed around with it a bit. I can't even afford a MIDI controller, so I have no idea what I'm missing out on, but it's fun to whip out when I'm chilling at a friend's house or something.\

Also, old news.

It's also only free for non-commercial use... not sure exactly where they'd draw a line, but I expect anyone getting a fee for a gig would be in breach of it. Which would then legally make it equivalent to pirating it - so not much gain from it being free!

But good news for newbies wanting to give it a go or for house parties etc.

You do get Traktor LE free with a lot of different MIDI controllers nowadays though, which I'd say is more powerful than Virtual DJ Home (based on the specs I've read).

i bought the bcd 3000 just for traktor... you get 2 at the price of one.
