This got leaked on a dutch website. Interestingly enough, the Serato version is 2 channels and has hot cues, and the Traktor version is 4 channels. It looks like the S4 has some real competition now.

I really like the layout of the controllers.

Any word on the approximate cost?

If the serato version had 4 channels, I would but it the day it went on sale. Not sure why it doesn't. I wonder if the traktor version can be jerry-rigged to work on serato.

Interesting..

Very interesting. For some reason this stands out more to me than the S4, maybe it's the finish or something i'm not quite sure but i'm more intrigued by this than i was by the S4..

It's probably because Serato is generally marketed to turntableists, rather than multi-taskers.

In that regard, the Serato edition actually makes more sense than the one designed for Traktor, as the Traktor one has no dB meters on ANY of the channels (I can't understand why this is the case), no friendly cue points, plastic, wobbly knobs, and a finish that just looks incredibly cheap, especially compared to the quality looking build of Serato's.

I think it's safe to say that Traktor edition has been fairly shafted.

Those do look sexy indeed :clown:

Was seriously considering investing in the S4. Think I'll wait it out for a price on these now though. The Serato version would be good if it fully intergrates with scratch live.

Because you don't need 4 channels when you use Bridge to hook it up to Ableton and do whatever the hell you want, in any way you want.

If this has native Ableton recording through Serato like the Rane mixers do, I will buy one of these on launch day!
