"Robert Babicz will release a collection of his own material next month, simply titled Vol 001.
The compilation will be the first full-length on Babiczstyle, the label Babicz launched last year as a platform for his own material. Vol 001 features five previously unreleased tracks, plus selections from his earlier catalog ("My Blue Car," "Mover," "Hope") most of which were only available on vinyl until now, and all of which have been re-mastered for this release. The digital version of Vol 001 comes with a few extra goodies, though what you get depends on which online outlet you choose: Juno, Beatport and WhatPeoplePlay all offer a different bonus track, while iTunes includes an hour-long mix with the album.

| yea i'm a big fan of mr acid/babicz as well! quantity + quality type of guy. when you reach those levels of release numbers, imo, i would expect the ratio of good/likable songs to undoubtedly dwindle. with rob i don't see such a correlation as i do with the other major producers out there; his songs are really amazing and just get better now that he's playing with lots of different sounds. lookin forward to hearing this album and especially those unreleased tracks! |

| I thought Hope was released digitally and on vinyl? I've got the vinyl release, it's one of my favourite babicz releases. Interesting concept, offering different things at different sites lol. |

| This just hit the stores. Apparently Beatport sells it with an exclusive track intitled "Model 7106", but as far as I can see, Juno doesn't give any exclusive. |

| Just picked it up myself.... good . Robert Babicz always delivers :) and I must say I love the acid techno track, he really needs to make more acid techno :D |
