No bidding war over love letter writing classes????

How about the two night stay at the Holiday Inn??? By the airport!!!

CMON!!!

Give it time Margs..

You'll see more activity closer to the auction end dates...

And maybe if some better auctions are presented???

no no, i know that but there is a lot of people that are not TAs (Jenna's work friends and families) that may find some of the other things interesting. But then again, they may not be versed enough in computers to bid.

i just want to know if there is something that we can do to make them look better.

So we have all these awesome auctions but not many people are actually registering (nothing compared to the views). Is there something about the site that makes people not trust it, do the auctions look sketchy? (just curious, lol)

i think a lot of people just dont want to bother with registering with another site (im the same way). if the auctions were on ebay then i think more people would bid because many people already have an account (and ebay is reputable).

yeah, i guess that is a good point.

maybe we will have to stress that registering doesn't sign you up for newsletters or anything like that.

eBay would be good except they take a percentage of the earnings and it sort of defeats the purpose of raising money. also, we did sort of want to keep it small so that someone from Toronto and the area would be bidding since we don't want to deal with exaggerated shipping problems.

Thanks for the input, dudes!

Ladies, a whole bunch of jewelery has been added.

But putting things up on eBay opens the auction up to millions of people...

If they take a small piece, so be it. The extra exposure is worth it...

I've looked at the site but not in dept enough to know where to register, just what to bid on auction wise. I will sort it all out tonigh though (and order my Tee...I'm betting it'll come by Sat??)

there is a thin menu bar right at the top and you can select to register. you can even use facebook connect to register. just remember, you will receive an activation email and so make sure to activate first.

but if you set it to 'local pick up only' then only local people will bid. i doubt someone from zimbabwe will bid and fly over here to pick it up.

I should post this here, too....

I would just like to give Margaret and Heidi huge props for their organization skills, creativity and tenacity.

Now let's make them proud and raise a FORTUNE for Jenna's garden.
