does anyone even care at this point though? both weeks kinda blow. obviously wmc week more than umf week. i mean they dont blow completely, its still better than not having either week at all, but i think its just sad. the split has really saturated both weeks. yea theres still a ton of thats gonna get announced but theres very little im excited about in either week so far.

for you out of towners that are using your vacation time and spending your hard earned dollars this is obviously different. if im spending a buttload of money, then you better believe ima be excited about it. so i cant fault any of you there, but for me as a local, i look forward to this week (now weeks) for the special . so far all ive basically seen are the same parties that come every year and i dont see anything spectacular. its all just a little meh.

i just hate all this wmc week vs umf week competition bull. if both weeks blow, then who the cares which one was better?

also theres 2 events now missing from the wanttickets wmc page. it was listed at 79 events, now theres only 77. i cant tell which ones got removed.

this was maybe answered already, but where/how do you sign up for the beatport pool parties?
thanks

You don't sign up, it's just first come first serve. There's plenty of room though. Sunday last yr did get to capacity tho. Ppl were watching from the boardwalk haha.

1. Tickets were $50-$60 at the door so buy your tickets now!
2. You get a wristband so re-entry is allowed.
3. The club is veryyy laid back, no bottle popping crap here, sound is good and the vibe is good. I actually hung out in a VIP area they have a little bit higher in the back but since no one bought bottles you could sit if you wanted to and just drink and have fun.
4. Make sure to check out the lounge! For hope/therapy they had Jody Wisternoff and others playing and for Sasha they had Timo Mass and others. Also Spooky and Three were in the basement so always check for events down in the basement as you are walking up to the entry you'll see a sign in front of the stairs that go to the basement. Last year Lee Burridge closed out the Sasha night so that was cool, vinyls in hand.

Honestly if I wasn't a local I would stay at the Shelborne, great location, free admission to all the events and you can serve your drinks in your room.

Great review thanks.
