On Thursday, Jan 13, we personally invite you to join us for an AA Meeting/Party 7 - "Artwalk Afterhours".
A good number of people enjoy artwalk in downtown during 2nd Thursdays of each month. No one had a place to go to afterwards and had asked us to do something. And thus, AA Meeting/Party was born. Best part about this is since we started, we have pretty much hit capacity. People come for the name, people stay for the music and people return coz of the vibe.
Now you wonder, what's so different about it? Well this one has no printed or online flyers, and won't be promoted heavily as we want to limit this one to around a selected few people only and ONLY those who love House music. In fact, try searching the event on facebook, it will be hard to find. You are getting this as we want you there as a Lover of House Music in Los Angeles
We will have special surprise guest DJs going Live with percussions, flutes, saxohones, keys, violins at times, and mixed musically to downtempo, to house, to tech house to disco and we even might jazz it up at times. Think of it as quality DJs who play at Warehouses, King King, Vanguard, Avalon, Libertine, Custom Pool & Flatlounge Pool, all jamming for the love of electronic dance music.
Venue is a pretty 1960's lounge with couches and a full BAR. Even has food! Trust us when we say, you haven't seen anything like it, except in the classic movies of yore.
PS. Feel FREE to bring your friends who love House music. And yes, there is Alcohol.

"After a seemingly quiet time following their debut release on Paper Recordings the duo Left Minded is back with plenty of ammunition. January 2011 sees their sophmore EP drop on Look Ahead Records with a remix from "Beatport Deep House Artist of the Year" nominees Karol VXII and MB Valence. The three track EP packs plenty of techy punch in the single "Let it Go" but also brings a deep melodic touch in the single "Fly Away". The duo also has three remixes set to drop in the next two months following their EP, one of which is a remix for Guesthouse Music, and has already started working on their third EP for the label Deep Edition ran by Martijn (Loco Records, Save Room). It's an exciting time for Neil and Luke as finally the hard work in the studio for the second half of 2010 has paid off and both are ready to get back to the dancefloors."
