Looks like some big announcements from Access at NAMM. Here is the first video for OS4.5 showing off the new chorus:

Not sure what else will be included in the new OS, but Access is hinting about another big feature on its FB page.

And, some photos of the new Darkstar (limited edition of the Polar):

Do you happen to know if there's a vst chorus that works like that Air Chorus he demoed? If I understood correctly he's saying that it works by detuning the sides of a stereo signal? That "the air between the speakers" phrase puzzles me.
Or is he talking about just detuning the L and R channels independently like Waves doubler for example?

If the answer is no, is there anything like what I wrote available?

Good question. I think what he's saying is that the signal is split into L and R and detuning independently (as in Waves Doubler), and that the result is that the chorus effect is simply heard in the center. :conf:

Cryo!

You are the Typhoid Mary of GAS! :p

(Yeah, I'm also talking about that Linn/Smith contraption, too.)

Oh, I'm not planning on buying one of these. I'm very happy with my 61 keys and won't go back to 37 no matter how cool it looks. But, I am looking forward to the OS4.5. As for the new Linn/Smith machine,.....maybe I'm GASing just a little, but at $2K and still at least 6 months away, I'll probably be fine. I've been downsizing my studio so much over the past year that I need to compensate by at least talking about gear!

New sources have been added to the modulation matrix allowing to add further "analog" feeling to pretty much any parameter available within the over 100 modulation destinations

This is hilarious. What does a mod matrix have to do with adding teh analogues??
