This track is not dubstep. It's like a weird house/trance/electro/pop hybrid, with a tiny little section that resembles dubstep.
In any case, I know she's trying to be creative with her sound, but somehow this song sounds even more generic than normal. Her Circus album actually wasn't half-bad. |

| Britney Spears made a good performance in the song. But I think the lyrics is not so good for some people. |

From Wikipedia:
Musicologists often identify the following characteristics as typical of the pop music genre:
* an aim of appealing to a general audience, rather than to a particular sub-culture or ideology[3]
* an emphasis on craftsmanship rather than formal "artistic" qualities[3]
* an emphasis on recording, production, and technology, over live performance[10]
* a tendency to reflect existing trends rather than progressive developments[10]
* much pop music is intended to encourage dancing, or it uses dance-oriented beats or rhythms[10]
I don't see anything significant in the fact that a Britney Spears record borrows from trending EDM elements. :o |

ahh... what a pity that one of the pioneers is ruining his artistic life, so he changes classical melodic and outstanding compositions for repetitive and cheesy ones... what a change. |
