Unfortunately, mls.ca. They pretty much control the Real Estate market.

Ya youre pretty much stuck with MLS.ca, if you're looking for any other info feel free to ask away.

Cool. I'll look into them.

I'm actually looking at this one to move to... http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetai...idKey=486931330

Looks awesome for the price... but wondering if the railroad has anything to do with the price being so low. I don't think it would bother me... but it looks underpriced.

price is at least $80,000 less than what its supposed to be for this type of house. The train must be loud.

Tru nuff... but that's also good for outdoor parties in that big backyard... less noise complaints.

But yeah... I guess I would have a hard time selling it myself when the day comes...

To be honest, i've lived near a Railroad track, and never had an issue.
I actually found it very soothing. The sound of the train coming by can be quite relaxing. I lived right off the Lakeshore track so I had the GO every 30 minutes. Yes, you do notice it the first week, but you honestly won't even remember theres a track there.

Take a look and see what kind of trains use that track (aka, GO, via, for transport, etc.).

If you really think it might be a problem just go there and see if you can wait for a train to come by and see how loud it actually is.

For me, I find noisy backyard neighbours 100000x times worse than railroad tracks.

^it's true actually, i've lived right beside the railroad tracks when i lived in russia, it was noticeable the first month then i forgot it's even there..

Just don't focus on one neighborhood... and try to check as many as houses you can before you know what you are looking for...
