this stuff is amazing, just make sure you listen with a good set of headphones.

its a quicktime audio file FYI. not a song or anything, sounds like the dude is shaking a matchbox but feels unreally...real, like you're there

Only sounds thats way because its panning naturally due to the person shaking the match box around an omni-directional stereo mic setup. It literally is mimicking a real sound...

Yeah, used to have a few GBs of holophonic tracks. It's pretty cool stuff. You should look up the "Virtual Haircut". It's an excellent example of how realistic it can sound.
