1) Why the hell do they keep referring to weed as "drugs" and "narcotics"??? Do they think kids actually use those terms?
2) The spliffs in the MTV version are way smaller and tier than the BBC version. Pretty much just like everything else about this re-make. |

| I don't understand why all the guys were way shorter than the girls... I always though kids were getting smaller, even in HS the freshman looked waaaay smaller than when I was one... is it still happening?! :conf: |

Skins is an incredibly popular program in the UK. That's why people watched. So MTV decided to pick up the series and Americanize it.
But MTV ruined it, as they do. |

I just didn't want to watch it without the cast. Plus the second season had some really ty episodes and plot lines. The way they dealt with Tony's head injury was completely unrealistic and irritated me. But it was a ing awesome show at times and damn crazy which is why I loved it. |
there are definitely idiotic points in 3 & 4, and i don't really like any of the characters that much, but I also don't hate any really- so, if you liked the first couple the 3rd and 4th are definitely worth looking into :)
its new characters, but issues and things that are good from the 1st are the same in the 3rd and 4th
its also kinda good they changed the cast: I think they plumbed the depths for what they could do with those characters: they've got even MORE characters for 5 & 6 which is starting soon :eyes: |

| Love Skins. One of my favourite programs. Just watched the first 20 mins of the MTV version and couldn't handle any more. Appalling! |
