After taking a bit of a break in late 2010, Toronto techno duo
Metalogic<http://www.metalogicstudios.com/>returns with much to
celebrate. Producers
*Jamie Kidd* and *Frederik Hatsav* have constantly expanded their sound
since first appearing on Boshke Beats in 2003 and releasing their debut
album, *Magnetic Influence*, in 2005. Subsequent EPs for labels including
Perc Trax and Hidden Agenda ranged from minimal to driving. The latest
sounds unveiled by Metalogic are even more nuanced and rhythmic. Here, the
duo performs an all-original live P.A. as they mark the release of
September’s fantastic* Torus* full-length for Berlin’s Nachtstrom
Schallplatten and their gorgeous upcoming tech house EP for Nathan Barato's
Roots & Wings.
