I c your point. that was like a pop music album. it just sells, i think he was just trying to go through with end of 2008 recession.

I am not excited about Three 6 Mafia feel it remix either dont get me wrong. I am hoping good old tiesto i knew before. Lets see what happens.

Totally agree with you on why he created the album and whatnot, but the problem is that he actually plays those tracks at his shows unfortunately. You'll hear a mix of Kaleidescope, dirty dutch house, and a few of his old classics. His sets are weird lately. Saw him at Beach Club in Montreal last summer and it was an ok set because I had low expectations, he kept Kaleidoscope tracks to 3-4, it was $50, and awesome setting/crowd/weather. But even then he just seemed to give this "I'm effin Tiesto I don't have to work anymore" attitude.

In the last year I've seen 9/10 of the DJs in the top 100 list you linked and to be honest they all put on such better shows with so much more enthusiasm than Tiesto. He's purely ranked there based on previous accomplishments and you'll only see him slide from here on in IMO.

If you don't like his new stuff, I would highly recommend NOT going. Especially if it's $95!! That's a lot. That's even more than the last time he was in town. If his show is anything like last time he was here, the majority of it will be his new , and the last 1/4 will be classics (ie. Flight 643, Traffic etc..).

Ricoh Hall is an awesome venue for him though. He played there a couple years ago. Just make sure you buy tickets for the floor, and not the stands. That way u can actually dance, and mingle with other people! Otherwise you'll be stuck at an assigned seat in the stands, which is lame. lol
