if it sounds like a preset, what the author of the comment means that he chose the "preset" incorrectly. it awkward, and dull, and sounds like a stock sound.
not that im saying hes correct, or that i even care to dig deeper in this track, its a turd, with the mixing exemplifying that of.
So all presets are bad.... ok... so if I make a sound and use it then were to sell that patch to someone who made was releasing synth that sound becomes bad?
Again, you sound like yo have more of an issue with me than you do the track as you have failed to provide any sort of real criticism. the mixing, its a WIP.

forget the entire conversation on presets. the track is sick.
some elements in the track are a bit repetitive, especially the second half. a stripped down version would sound better i think.
in general, anyone today who can produce good ambient music is gonna produce good trance.

Thanks, I am probably going to delete the whole arrangement and restart the layout of the track since I was just building it as I made loops and going back and readding stuff with out too much thought (damn genres of music with actual expected structure! :p).

Joss, I think your track is pretty nice, open and relaxing. Sort of track I'd want while driving.
But one thing puzzles me about you. Why a few months back did yoi TELL me in a very out of the blue abrupt manner not to post up a WIP, unless it was in your sticky WIP thread?

Yea I know, I can't find it anymore though. I looked, but I guess I missed it in my subscribed list. :(

hey! those are some harsh words, Joss. i really enjoy MSZ's work (so do a lot of other TAs) and i'm not even into trance/prog. i don't think its MCProg nor too clean?... thats sorta weird to say.
