Hi,

1- Once you have loaded in a couple of insert effects on a track in Logic, can you afterwards change the order of the effects in the chain on the channel mixer strip on the left of the arrange view?

I thought i would be possible by dragging an insert effect below or above another but it doesn't seem to work or am I not doing it right.

2- something else.. is it possible to create a real "ping-pong" delay effect with for example the Stereo Delay.. so that the echo first goes to the left then to the right then to the left etc.. how do you set that up?

Please help! Thanks!

Thanks, but if you want to switch the first and second slot and all slots are already loaded with effects, can't you drag the second above the first so it becomes the first if you know what i mean, or does dragging only work towards empty slots?

does that also work if you already have effects loaded in ALL slots, so also slot 3 etc.. or does slot 3 need to be empty?

just found this info about re-arranging inserts:

Command-drag the plug-in.

• When you get a yellow frame around a plug-in, you're about to swap that plug-in with the one you're dragging.

• When you get a yellow line in between two plug-ins, that indicates the position where you're about to insert the plug-in you're dragging.

Does that work in your version of Logic? Needs to be the latest, so version 9 I think.
