Apogee One vs MOTU MicroBook...

The built in line in interface on my desktop MacPro just took a dump. I usually just use it to record my practice mixes and once in a while to record voices for sweepers or drops. I am going to start a mixshow podcast so I'll be using it more.
Right now, I'm eyeing Apogee's One vs MOTU MicroBook. What you guys think? Or should I save money and get the Apogee Duet? Or any better suggestions? I do have a Firewire 410, but I hate that thing! hahahaha So I never use it.
I like the fact that they're both portable and I can record my shows on the road. I already record them using my laptop's Line In because I just record them so I can reflect on my sets, but this would give me better quality incase I'd like to pass a few of them out.

I say get a echo audio interface.
I had a M-Audio 410 also and yes it suck cocks in hell!
But it works fine running Pro-Tools M powered.
I could not use Reason or Ableton live as a stand alone using the 410, I all ways had to rewire it with Pro-tools.
I think The Drivers suck on the 410.
Just my 2c. |

| I completely forgot that I can use my spare Audio 8 as a soundcard. I used it last night and it sounded GREAT! Way better than anything I was using before. |
