Problems with Beatport (pg. 2)

I use Beatport and Juno Download a lot to search for new tunes - mainly because most tracks are available in WAV format, I like lossless. :D
Usually if BP doesn't have something, there's a good chance JD has it. I'd rather buy and support artists and labels these days than easily torrent something, besides: Lossless > most crappy VBR vinyl/CD rips. |

The Artist and label split close to 45 cents when the track is beatport exclusive, even less after that.
That means beatport takes close to $2 profit for every track
2/2.50 = 80% of the profit going to beatport. And for what? They allow every ty digital label and their dog to hop on board.
Beatport SCREWS the artist and labels. |

Same. I'll get the dot without any new releases, they usually come a few days later. Most of the time I can guess what's coming out :p

Beatport has been all sorts of ed up for me lately. I get the same problem with the dots in my "My Beatport" list, I can't add some labels but can add others, and now I'm getting like this, LOL.

| No problem here, just remember to hit refresh in case you are used to keep tabs open for long time in your browser if you want to have everything updated. |

| I also get a weird problem with the <- -> buttons on the interface. They often won't respond when clicked so I'll have to use the back button my browser. Then a minute or two later the arrow buttons will finally kick in and it'll take me back several pages (or whatever). |

haven't used beatport since may 5 last year.
i used to go on that site every day.
i definitely got a lot of good music from there, but wading through the was just becoming too time consuming, and i'm not the kind of dj who just waits for new music from his favorite artists/labels - i like to dig new things.
so these days i'm buying mostly vinyl, or i dig new digital music from boomkat/14 tracks, along with a slew of other unique stores like honest jons, other music, halcyon, etc. and i buy a lot of things on amazon and itunes. |

Dude!! That happens to me too! Strangely though, it only happens when I use my laptop computer, but never on my desktop:conf: |
