Uplifting vocal trance albums?

Hi all,

Am looking to start a trance cd collection and would like suggestions for albums that have uplifting/emotional female vocal trance. I'm not after the beaty heavy stuff.

I have already had a look at the search function but topics are usually based on single tracks. I am after albums that I can buy in CD format. Dont really want to buy albums where out of the 24 tracks only 2 or 3 are vocal trance.

Examples of tracks I like include:

Oceanlab Miracle
Oceanlab Sierens of the sea
DNS Project Uncross these line.

I have bought the sirens of the sea album and tristate by above and beyond and also all the anjunabeats vol 1-8 (although I expect these will not be fully vocal trance).

What other CD albums should I look at?

Also how do I get tracks such as DNS project - Uncross these lines in CD format? Is it on an album somewhere?

I dont want MP3 as I like playing my music through a highend cd system to capture all the sound so cds are a must.

Well it does not matter if you have a high end CD system as most vocal / uplifting tracks these days don't pay much attention to mastering, so it will sound like ass to the trained ear anyway due to overcompression and possibly even clipping.

Really? Didnt realise that.

Shame the way music in general is turning out. Unlike film where everything is improving e.g HD and 3D, music appears to be going the opposite way.

Music is now all about convenience and downloads. I find it annoying that people want to have 1000 tracks of inferior mp3 on their ipod rather than listen to music with an audiophile approach. OK I can understand it for music on the go but people actually are building ipod based home hifi systems and buying like ipod docks including the crap B&W Zeppellin.

Companies consequently adjust to these trends and as a result we all get sold quality sounding music. The demise of the CD is close.

Yeah, as an audiophile myself, I refuse to buy music from a label that does these kinds of evil practices for the most part.

Got to take a stand against these practices that are ruining music right?

Try finding the flac files. Also try listening to trance without vocals.
