I love SVD.

Ok I like the basic idea but you asked if it has what it takes, and I want to give my honest answer.

It lacks subblety imo. What I get from SVD tracks is a sense of space and equisite attention to detail.

Your track has the fondations but could use some weeks of very close surgical attention to every single sound. It sounds a bit 'wall of loop' in the main parts of the intro and elsewhere.

If it were me I'd spend a lot of time making sure any loop I introduced only stayed if it really did suit the track and still let it breathe. Maybe there are no loops here, but the percs do sound a bit loopy layered.

The synth in the break is perfect.

The synth that comes in the drop is not exquisite enough - like it was a just a slightly tweaked preset and I personaly dont think SVD would think this had enough care as he is a master of sound choice.

The kick is also for me not good enough - a bit boxy vengeancy. Start over with a new kick imo and build from there.

Too busy. I find the sound to be harsh, borderline painful to listen too.

UPDATE!!!!!!
Evolve140
*the dissonance is kinda messing with me. the percs and stuff are good but the square bass synth doesn't really work imho. has potential but, not sure. i'm a bit torn as what to think.

quite busy and it sounds like the LOUDNESS BUTTON is on on your car stereo (that's not good)
I hear good riffs, but i miss cohesion

It's a lot better now.

I really dig the leaness here. The percs and swooshes up and real good. The sustained white noise is too high nand shrill - by all means start loudish (but not so piercing but then fade a bit or it will be too much in a club.

The lead is about spot on, good work.

The bass is nice, but again I think you can get it nicer, tee hee.

Overall good work.
