Hello!
I have a new track out called Twisted Universe and would love to get some feedback. It's a trance track with some epic and uplifting influences, but I would consider it a little dark as well. It's just over 10 minutes long and available as a 320 kbps mp3 on my Soundcloud page. I've been working hard on this one and mastered it in Wavelab. Let me know what you think!

Just on the verge of too digital. Very energetic, but has too much tension with the 16th hh's. If they were slightly more subdued I think it would be better. The bassline is all floaty and not tight; different. I suppose that is up to taste. I prefer a tight bassline.
Like the position of the kick in the mix. Good production, I just think the track is a little tense overall. Feels like you are going on a journey through space, interesting. Might be cool to put some space sounds in it and go with that theme.
Even in the breakdown you have strong rhythm at the start, which is a good transition, but it's so bright it really stands out. Might have been cool to LPF that down into the complete break down. Then in the break it would have been cool to in the middle have a really slow or dead section, would have made the build more meaningful, emotional. |
