I remember going into Cardiff's HMV store last year to check out some vinyl, I was looking through 'G' and I saw Gouryella - Tenshi, even the picture on the vinyl sleeve is incredible and when I played it I almost came in my pants :thepirate |

I could've sworn I posted this on some Ligaya talk last week...hmmph...anyway, I said this:
Ligaya....bleh..
Nothing beats a classic such as Gouryella...Tenshi is right behind it. So brutha- SIT YO ASS DOWN!

1. Tenshi <- great track, very emotional. just complete bliss
2. Walhalla <- underrated, very uplifting with short but nice vocals
3. Ligaya <- may be higher if there was a full rip
4. Gouryella <- never liked as much of the other gouryella tracks, but still a gem |

Tenshi's still number one for me, followed by a tie between Gouryella and Walhalla.
However, I LOVE Ligaya. Just the way it's so energetic to begin with, and then goes into serenity mode with its suspended chords (which I'm a sucker for). And when the breakdown drops, it just goes up, up and up again.
I'd rate Ligaya on a par with Gouryella. However, ask me on October 6th, after I've seen Armin. Then again on November 4th, after I've watched Ferry himself drop it... :wtf::crazy::D |

3. gouryella (i love the opening though, that rolling bass feel is enough to make me wanna dance)
4. ligaya (at the bottom cuz i never heard the full rip and on a nice sound system) |

I liked them in the order it was released:
1) Gouryella
2) Tenshi
3) Walhalla
4) Ligaya
Hmmm...I don't think Ligaya ranks even close to the other 3. I think it's missing some of that Tiesto flavor. TOO energetic for me. Is that possible? |
