| I'm torn. I'm supposed to be taking my girl and all her girlfriends out to their first rave because its my girls birthday march 5th. Last time I went to sasha it was lame. His music is boring and he isn't much of a hype man. I dont want to give the girls a bad first impression of the rave scene, their all around 19 and are looking to party hard. Any suggestions? I wish wolfgang gartner was march instead of may... |

Your right about his music, it can seem boring at times. Sometimes the crowd is what can make a party plus liquified is promoting it as a party with better than normal production (lighting etc)
I think this party will be great and if I was not going to Miami twice in March I would drive down to Atlanta from Charlotte to come see Sasha at the Quad.
Take a chance, it could be a great party with great people..........
re: the rave scene....... that word just is not used much around here anymore but if you go check out genxglow.com there is a thriving message board that will tailor to your needs.... |

Ya the rave scene isn't what it used to be. Every once in a while I find a good old school style rave, Mauricio of Beyond knows how to throw old school raves. The fact that liquified is promoting makes me consider going, but the fact that Sasha is playing makes me reconsider. Almost all the parties ive been to at the quad were ATL crunk so the venue and people that go might be worth it. With all the people im bringing it will be close to $160 spent at the door, so I dont know. |

| Sasha @ The Quad is not a rave first of all...just because an event plays electronic dance music, does not mean it's a rave. Secondly, if you want the "rave" experience, you should definitely wait for a different event. And lastly, if you want to listen to good music in a good environment, go to this. |

Look man, I know what a rave is, cant hardly find them anymore around here. Im 26 taking out a bunch of 19 year old girls, to them, this is going to be a rave. Ive been going to raves since the church, lorettas, earthtone etc, so I know what a rave is. Not to mention all the parties I threw when I used to dj. It might say noob under my name on the forum, but thats not who I am. Keep it cool man. |

| No, you're a "noob" because you're going around looking for a rave at a club with Sasha headlining. Couldn't care less that you're a "tranceaddict in training." |

Who ever said I was looking for a RAVE? I throw that word in a sentence like it aint nothing and you get all touchy? I'm not LOOKING for anything. Just wanted to get some feedback from some people. Drop it. |

You're the one who got touchy, kid.
You> Looking to take some friends to a real rave. Not sure if this qualifies?
Me> This isn't going to be a rave. Wait for a different event. But this will have good music.
You> Look, I'm 26 and an expert at raving, I know what a rave is.
But yes, please drop it. |
