The lead is boring, and you never change it. Like if it were a cool sounding lead and it was the only lead sound in the song it wouldn't be so bad, but you use it for the entire song and it really is quite dull sounding. Percussion could use some work, it's very static right now and since there's nothing else in the track that really stands out, the simplistic perc patterns you've got going are blatantly obvious. Musically it's not bad, I dig the idea however unrefined it as at the moment. Definitely try to go for more melodies and either spruce up the current lead sound a lot or add some more diverse lead sounds.
I don't quite like the guitar so for me that's a turn off, but that's obviously just a matter of taste. Keep working on it man  |
