Whats so special about Swedish House Mafia - One

It's not about the track in its self. It's about what Angello, Ingrosso & Axwell are selling.
They're a bunch of guys which show personality (douchebagg-ery), have a cool, generic name "Swedish house MAFIA" and pretty much represent what every 17-year old wannabe DJ wants to be.
They have videos about parties, try to represent the club-culture, get mixed up with Pharell and other fags, slowly getting into the RnB thingie.
Of course, Armin, fake as he is, jumps on the wagon. |

is as bad as people taste. Armin played it in the rendedzvous of the dutch troops when they almost won the soccer final and that made the track even more legendary.
There are better tracks in the same "trousy" style but who, when and how is the tune released is very very important. I'd recommend you reading an article on beatport called "One, Anatomy of a Hit" it briefly explains that the sucess of the tune is all about marketing and not about music.
And Guetta and Armin aren't good djs, they're just the representatives of the brand they've sold their soul to. |

nothing really. its simple and catchy, and sold to the masses by name djs. if it wasnt released by SHM it would go unnoticed.
that said, the original (without pharell) is a decent club track. |

| i really don't care about the vocals in this case, just name name name all the time, this tracks are considered massive but they are decent at the best extent, if some producers had the popularity of SHM that track would have passed as another beatport release, but the real house is having 50 sales/month. |

It's also the track of 2010 for me. Overplayed yes, but sure the track definately created a lot of epic moments in clubs over the globe. So stop the whinning please.

| man, can't believe that i can imagine better intros, i've heard that track so many times that i hate it right now. First time i heard it i thought "And this is the best the 3 "best" djs can achieve?" when i started to hear it weekly on a constant basis i thought "better than Justin Bieber" but now... if a dj plays this again last thing he'll see is my fist on his eye |
