Dark, industrial-ish Trance?
View this Thread in Original format
Vernon Wanderer
A combo that always seemed interesting to me, but I have never found a track that would catch the essence of both. Apart from the track below..

It should be dark and have some distortion, and "raw" but "real" sounds that don't sound like tetris music.

Anyone knows something similar?

Don't post psy trance plz.

I don't really like their music, but This Morn' Omina are often described as a cross-over:

I wouldn't say the track you've posted is very industrial, just dark.

This isn't anything like the track you posted, or probably what you're looking for at all, but I recently discovered a fantastic act called Geomatic who sound like a fusion between industrial and psy-trance/ psybient:

Settimo
Did you really just use the words 'industrial' and 'trance' in the same sentence? Good luck with that...
Vernon Wanderer

@rodri - i know those tracks, they are big classics, but that is not the sound im lookin for at all..

@J - from what you wrote, looks promising. If its something like Cybernetica - Calling Mersomething :p

Mr Game+Watch
I remember hearing a set by Soliquid which had a dark, glitchy, sound... can't remember much more about it. Maybe try looking into his tracks?

What? You're acting as if it doesn't exist.

Well concidering a lot of industrial (or ebm, if you guys care about the difference) is heavily euro trance influenced that's not really right.

There's a lot of trance influenced industrial (including annoying and occasionally cheesy supersaw lines) but not really the other way round (since this thread isn't about pie)
