drums need to cut a little more. Vocals need to be more upfront and eq's a tad. The vocal needs a lot of work as it sounds like a scratch track right now. During the cut time part, I would consider doing a more dubstep ala scrillex. The trance stabs again need to be eq and compressed to cut more. Also, the form is a little too elaborate. try to cut it down. Get rid of the piano bits when they are solo'd. It is all about the groove then the singing, nobody will care about those piano improvisations. This is commercial trance so make it commercial. Get the dance mix under 6 minutes and the radio club mix at around 3-4.
I would spend the time to get it sounding right. FInd it funny that people think this is a phoney. This is the first track i've heard on here that did not completely suck so congrats. Just needs to be produced properly and you have a good track. I would not worry about the retarded assumptions. People here tend to be really bad and it comes as a shock that not everyone sucks.
Start thinking about a remix by a well known artists. I would go for the electro side with deadmau5 or Gartner. Pay the advance even if it might seem like alot and don't around with semi known guys that won't pull you up from the detritus of all the million trance producers that will never make it.
I would change your name as well. |
