We need at least one non-event thread on here.
To start, does anybody know of a good place to buy wine? The only big place I know of is Spec's, but they're a little lacking in the rarer stuff (about the only thing they don't have). Houston preferred but, like I mentioned, I'm looking for pretty specific stuff, so anywhere is helpful. |

If it weren't illegal for me to ship alcohol to the USA, I'd send you some from here. Australia has some awesome wines. |

Never tried AU wines? :wtf:
Australia makes excellent whites AND reds. Top class, I'm not kidding.
I must say though, that for the whites, New Zealand probably does better than us. Or they used to, anyway. There are also some EXCELLENT South African whites. I'm not too good with S.A. reds though, I haven't tried many of them. |

Fair enough. You'd enjoy your whites more if you lived in a warm climate for most of the year :p

Not dry heat though like Nevada but it is nice and extra warm, it barley even freezes in my city. Up in the Panhandle it's a different story though. |
