My one question is did he keep the cheese to a minimum? Is it more dark and progressive than the last two? I know he said something about breaking from mainstream and pushing a more underground sound. |

| I'll give it a listen but I'm a Coldharbour sound fanatic so I doubt it'll live up to '05 or '06. |

| TBH, it is really not that great. There are some good tracks, but as a whole it doesn't flow that well on both discs. If you're looking for that old Coldharbour sound, it's almost non-existent. There are too many of those tracks with the high-pitched repetitive chords that just annoy the out of me and serve only to interior the flow. I think there's only one vocal track, and it's ok. The only track I really like is the intro into second track one disc one. I have listened to each disc a few times...and just can't seem to get into either one. I will say this- the style is quite a departure from his previous commercial offerings and is more twisted- I wouldn't say dark though, although the lack of vocal tracks might lead one to believe that. IMHO, I think has too much Armada influence, and not enough Coldharbour. I would have liked to see some Timewave or Miika Kuisma on there...it just seemed like he used the wrong tracks at the wrong times...when he really could have gotten things going. |
