The Quad isn't that big though. I'm not even sure if it's bigger than Opera. It might be able to get more production equipment though.
i could be wrong. I hope its not at Opera, in my opinion a SHM show show be somewhere like the tabby or earthlink live if not somewhere bigger.
They are pulling huge numbers now a days and sold out massive events in seconds in the europe. The show in miami for halloween drew 8000 people for just them. Their ibiza shows this year were all sold out in advance which is unheard of for Ibiza

Ya, I am not sure of the square feet // capacity and what not, but I'm pretty sure Opera and Quad are similar in size.
If Devin hadn't of said "Trance" when talking about the Tabby show, I would've assumed it was SHM there since the Tabernacle and makes the most sense for them.

You got me interested in Gaslamp Killer. Surprising artist for you to bring in.

I dont think SHM is a huge name in the Atlanta scene yet, so i don't think you really need the largest venue. Axwell's show wasn't that crowded in Nov (I didn't go to the other show in Dec), and I believe a lot of people there didn't even know who he was/buy tickets in advance.

a friend of mine said the tiesto show at opera is capped at 1000 people. any clue on capacity last time tiesto was at opera? it seemed quite tight.
and before anyone mocks, yes i am still considering going to tiesto. i know he isn't the tiesto of old, but i have a hard time passing up on someone who got me into trance 10 years ago. a couple of times he breaks out "old tiesto" and life is awesome

What are the odds this thing sells out quickly??
ZeeRobot1
it will prob sell out very quick but im not paying more than 15 bucks to hear him pump out garbage like this in opera.

That's one of the funniest promo photos I've seen. :stongue:

well tickets have only been on sale for a little over 4 hours and the first 4 tiers of tickets have sold out already! http://www.wantickets.com/liquified
On another note do we actually have a discussion going on the atlanta portion of TA?

it seems that way. it had been a while. you have caused some excitement with your anticipated announcement.

Yeah, my friends back in ATL were extremely disappointed with Liquified in 2010 and were about ready to just give up, but the announcement of some big trance acts has them excited again, especially since not everything is at Opera. My friends basically just want to see either Above & Beyond, Ferry, or Markus Schulz and they'll be happy. They're probably going to Sasha, as well, since it's not at Opera. Good job, Devin!
P.S. Tell your LA peeps to bring Sasha to Avalon. :)

2010 wasn't that bad really. It was maybe a little less slower than previous years...
