Silk Royal Showcase 01 represents the sound of progressive label Silk Royal Records, as well as the weekly radio show and podcast that give the compilation its name. Jacob Henry, label manager of Silk Royal Records and one of four Silk Royal Showcase radio show co-hosts (along with Schodt, Ad Brown, & Zack Roth), has compiled and mixed the first of two discs. Tom Fall, the acclaimed Finnish artist and frequent Silk Royal contributor, has mixed the second. As we celebrate our third anniversary as a label collective, Silk Music would also like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for their tremendous support.

Sorry Kris! But I would say no. For example the single release of Something Good - Loop (Dave Cortex Remix) is 6:55 min long, The one in the Silk Royal Showcase bundle is only 4:46 min long. I guess the single tracks in the bundle are just the mix cut from the CD.

I was only wondering, since I haven't seen Beatport release mix compilations with individual mixed tracks. You're probably right though, as very few tracks in that genre would be below 5 mins. |

Yep, the cuts available at the moment are all *mixed* versions. We will be releasing all the previously unreleased tracks on the compilation as singles soon. |

| Through part 2 now and must say I'm impressed. Nice mixing and a great flow of tunes. Highlight for me would be Soundprank's take on Yesterdays Tears - what a beauty! |

Finished the 1st CD yesterday. AWESOME!
Will be listening to CD2 today.

As far as my tastes, I prefer CD 1. CD2 is a little more trancy but great nonetheless!
