| What are the commonwealth games? Can anyone elaborate on this? Is it like the Goodwill Games? I'm totally clueless on this one. |

| The Commonwealth Games is a multi-sport event, I think its 17 sports they do. The countries that take part are those which used to be in the British Empire (aka the Commonwealth) t.i.m.e. ago....:) |

in the UK there was nothing on Tv except from it. It's so boring just england winning gold medels in teakwon-do,judo,shooting:rolleyes:

Twas a great summer of sport.
Constant from the world cup to commonwealth games to european championships (athletics) and now the football again. With the odd test match and bit of golf thrown in for good measure.
How can you complain?
