ha! You thought this thread was sex-related, didn't you :)
this is about the movie Blow, starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz. it was very good, quite possibly my favorite movie now (i just saw it a few nights ago). it's about the drug trafficker George Jung, and is very well-told. I enjoyed every minute of it, i highly recommend it.
for those of you who've seen it: ya know towards the end when it goes back to where the beginning of the movie was? well, when they're in the room, George goes off to the bathroom. the camera goes back to the three men, and one says something like "he's a nice guy" or something. then he comes back, asks where his knife is, and realizes what's going on. I was convinced they were going to kill him at this point! i was very surprised when it was a set-up and the FBI caught him. that was very misleading :) am i the only one who thought that way? |

not the best movie ive seen, but it wasnt bad either. just not my style i guess.
its quite a while ago since i saw it, so i dont really remember what i felt at that stage of the movie, but i sure do remember the part. no doubts there hehe |

ya i loved that movie...saw it a while back. i thought it was funny when peneolope got a bloody nose at the table in the restaurant...kinda symbolized how they were gonna end up 'n what not...anyways, bye

Penelope Cruz doesnt get the blood nose, George Jung's first G/F gets a blood nose, and then she dies of cancer.
Other than that, ing great movie, ive got the DVD and it has actual interviews with George Jung, and lots of extra's. This is my 2nd fav movie, after good old Shawshank redemption.

Yes, it was pretty good.
But then, there's not too much with Johnny Depp in it I don't like.
He always seems to find those 'wierd ass' roles :p |

I heard that they really hammed up Jungs role and made him seem far more sympathetic than he really was (the whole doing it all for the daughter thing) but i don't know.
I actually like Depp, ever since Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, he has been one of my favorite actors. ing brilliant as HST |
