That chord progression is playing a really cliche' cadence and it's way too loopy. The rolling bass-lead is also cliche' and seems to lack low-end oomph. The parts when the song starts becoming interesting also seem to be falling apart, in their cohesion. Percussion just seemed to be lacking and repetitive, through and through.
You have some interesting ideas, here, and a good sense for the mix, but there's a lot of finessing left to do in this tune.
Also, if you're going to use Jewish overtones, you might try a little less Polish Ancestral while polishing up the Egyptian heritage facets. |
