Saying something is the [anything]-est here is just asking for a slating though ;) Particularly with 4 exclamation marks after it. If you're going to make a claim, make sure you can back it up.

Some cool tunes on there though, I think the "cheese" comments earlier were a bit unfair, although Fire Wire was a little bit unnecessary haha

I'll see how it sounds in the car tomorrow.

Just close the Thread OP.

I thought Rick Valentine was a WWF Wrestler?
Shouldn't "Real American" be part of the tracklist?

Listened to it properly, it was alright - probably only 2 tunes in the middle I really liked, but the mixing was solid and it all flowed well enough.

And yeah, everyone's only slating it because you claimed it was the darkest deepest thing in the world. But you chose those words because that's either what you were trying to achieve or it's how you wanted us to see it... unfortunately the comments here suggest that hasn't quite panned out.

So from a slightly more constructive point of view, I personally prefer it when a set saves the floaty parts for the right moments rather than starting with fluffier tracks and going harder because "that's progression". An original groove is much more likely to grab my attention on the first track than a floaty identi-prog tune and if you want it to come across as a dark mix, make sure that theme's in there from the start. A bit later on when you've gone through some bitcrushed and distorted stuff, a more lighter, more melodic track can be a breath of fresh air. By that point you've already proven it's not another samey prog trance mix so those who were looking for a dark set are going to warm to it more.

Yada yada. You've been DJing for long enough to have your own views on all of this, but I thought I'd throw my in 2 pence anyway.

OP should close Thread because of the Posts are him getting flamed on. Just trying to be neutral here.

Hey! I like this mix! :) I'm also a sucker for these deep & dark basslines. And thanks for putting my track in there. Even though it's a bit old now, but still. That is the "Blufeld - Air Of Doubt (Castra Remix)".

Keep it up mate! ;)
