Glad the Packers won!.. It was a boring Superbowl though.

Any catch that retarded Chrylser commercial with Eminem? Someone on facebook commented saying, "So that's what they used our bailout money for!"

I love America, but not our domestic manufacturers let our auto industry go to shame. Now their trying to play catch up.

I didn't see it, his other one was ok though. The one for juice or something...
Also, i loved that BMW is moving into the US to make American made BMWs... Wonder what tax break they got to make that seem worth it...

I thought the Eminem Detroit ad was badass, and I'm not a fan of Eminem or Chrysler.

The halftime show was decent. Better than The Who's phoned-in effort last year, at least.

As for building cars in the US, tons of foreign automakers do. Most of them design certain cars for the American market and they build them here. Right-to-work states don't have to deal with unions and offer a lot of tax breaks, so it's attractive to the companies.

I'm glad Packers won as well, but it was a good second half. Maybe the first half was boring because GB was dominating but the second half was pretty good IMO.

And LOL @ Slash and Usher, I mean really? And lastly, Fergie's voice SUCKS! How the did she get famous?

I saw it as another cheap attempt by a US car manufacturer to advertise instead of make a good reliable car like Honda or Toyota, etc. Much like they did with Transformers, it was like a GM commercial for 2 hours. my two cents.

Ford and GM are as reliable if not more than Toyota these days, and their cars are certainly a hell of a lot cooler. (Toyota and Lexus just make boring nonsense now, except the LF-A)

Chrysler, however, I'm not so sure... by most accounts, the Charger/300 is a reliable platform.

Not saying Honda and Toyota are terrible by any means, but the days of American cars being unreliable and behind-the-times have been over for a few years now. Now the job is to show that to the American people and get them to start buying them again, which is what commercials (like the SB one) are for.

Anyway, the main reason I liked the commercial is that it was very well-made and showcased a city that most people think has fallen off the map. The whole vibe of it was cool as hell.
