Nah if u have happy memories of him, keep them. Always good to look back on.
But if u had a big fall out, and u dislike him now, burn them, so then u cna move on.
But if they bring back happy memories then just keep them hun :) |

Put them all in a box and hide them away somewhere hard to get, like in the darkest corner of the loft or something. That way they wont be in yuor face all the time, and in a years time if you want to get rid of them you can, but at least you know they're there if you still want them.
and to certain other people... FREEDOM OF SPEECH DOESN'T ALSO GIVE THE RIGHT TO SAY NASTY THINGS. IF YOU'VE GOT NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO SAY THEN DON'T BOTHER AT ALL BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR IT!
i.e. if Julie wants advice then either give it to her or don't open the thread in the first place. It's up to her if she wants to discuss her personal life on TA. |

and i donīt see why anyone would bother about that...see the thing that bothers me....why talk about exes if you havre a current BF thatīs also on the site?

i love it how when 59 teenage angst filled threads on ta start up about "my 16 year old girlfriend just broke up with me! what do i do! i need her back!!!", everyone gives advice... yet this one gets bitched about? whatever.
anyways, my advice is to definitely get rid of them. the one person that really meant something to me over the years, i have like 3 rolls of film worth of pics of us, as well as a few other memorabilia things... ive kept them in a box for 2 years now, but i went back and looked at them and it just made me sad.. so i will be getting rid of all of it. i think its the only way to move on really. keeping things is just holding on longer. |

btw, the *real* memories are not those on paper or wherever, they are in your head. but i have nothing against letters or pictures, in fact, i think... (damn, i forgot what i was gonna say) allright, i'm just positive about pictures and letters and etc., but i just like the thought that the *real* memories are in your head... damnit, i talk too much... |
