Started from scratch, except for 2 synths I dropped in and tweaked out for the track. Pretty damn near finished except for maybe a layer or 2 of FX, so if you like it let me know. :)
This I like. It has an original manner about it. Nice n dreamy and the bass is very warm and luscious. Like the vocal chops.
Could use another break in the second halve, but thats just my own taste here.

Awesome, thanks for checking! :) Will have one last visit tonight, probably finished up. Anyone else have some criticisms?

Like it a lot. The bass is probably weakest part. The panning of the vocals sounds awesome.
Evolve140
I agree. It is actually not pulled up in the mix very much, as an unintentional consequence of the low end being somewhat undeveloped. Glad we hear the same thing. thanks for listening :)

The rest of it is so lush and the bassline is a bit harsh. I actually think it could fit perfectly with a few fixes (which I unfortunatly don't know enough to help). Good luck on it.

Have another mix of the track here... new direction, love to know what you guys think of this one as contrasted to the other, or just in general. Thanks!
I think the new bass is way better. Excellent track.

Thanks dude, yeah I have the sub kicking in there for sure... and there are 3 chords in 4 measures, each measure does not play the same pattern, it varies slightly, which helps with the groove. Now to fill out the track, possibly offer a soaring lead part.

I actually don't like much trance but this track is pretty damn good - Please don't over cheese it. I actually like it's subtlety. I reckon if you added some better defined structure to the arrangement you could have a really solid composition.
Evolve140
I was really going for subtle on this one. The bassline and pad elements are all sine, and leads and arps are sine as well. I did want one extra harmonic element like a saw or a special waveform to give a some tinge to the track, which could possibly be encompassed in that lead towards the middle (it only has 1 part). I do find that the sine waves add to an overall feeling of warmth. Thanks Rann, will keep those words close while I work on this.
edit: by over cheese, do you mean extra synths, or other/extra chord progressions that are way cheesier?

I'm more of a fan of the first track posted.
I like the bass in the track but not a fan of how it's introduced.
Smooth track, love it
