Was messing around with FL Studio 9 and this wonderful track that Blake Reary did. I loved the lyrics and arps and got a good feel and decided to put my own spin on the lovely track. Let me know what you think? feedback would be deeply appreciated bad or good.

I don't think there is such a thing as being over compressed, lol. Some really good sounds there. I like the minimal drums over the track, reminds me of Arnej a bit.
Out of curiousity, why did you not export to 320? I don't care but since you mentioned it you can export to 320 on FL Studio as easily as 128.

I would have but Reverbnation only lets me upload 8mb max on a single track. I actually had to shorten the track AND degrade the export qaulity in order to post it on there. Some might suggest that I use soundcloud, but I like to save all that space to post my hour long radio shows. Anywho, I'll probably post a 320k version via sendspace sometime soon depending on the overall sound and feedback on the track or if anyone wants it.

beautiful. one thing, in the break i dont like how you muffled the vocals for a bit. though i liked the fading in, the first 5 seconds or so where you can't hear anything threw me off.
fix it, and give me the 320!!! lol

Sounds great. My favorite part is the minimal sounding drums over it. I always like vocal tracks with minimal drums.

Strange. Those glitchy drum sounds are the one thing that pisses me off. It doesn't fit with the rest of the track which is quite well balanced - you then have this stuttered snare/hat combo just sitting right on top.
Good job on the track otherwise.

Yes, Matt Darey has been a HUGE supporter of my latest EP "Into the Closet" Episode 288 of Nocturnal will actually be the 5th time he's supported my track on his podcast/ radio sets. Super cool and brilliant guy and I cant thank him enough. I will also be doing a guest mix next week for him as well so stay tuned for that! =)
