A friend purchased tickets off the site- via paypal (no account) and never received an email confirm. BUT his back account shows tht the money has been removed.
What can he do??? |

when i bought the ticket through their website(without paypal) i printed the ticket confirmation and few seconds later i received identical receipt through the email i entered.
Therefore it could be two things
1. he misspelled the email
2. the email from [email protected] was blocked from his email. maybe it triggered spam alert. Tell that person to check his spam email |

first of all ....sorry. I don't know if there is an actual review of this party.
Secondly.... Holly sheep! WOW Rory and Gerard ripped it off! I know you guys were trying to give back some classics for people that missed MIKE but god damn.. you guys rocked it! hit after hit. you got me jumping like a teenager. definitely deserved to be on the main floor with that performance.
i got there around 11:30ish and the place was getting packed. it was my first time there. loved the deco and the lights. especially the lazer. Kudos to who ever preped the place. soon as i got there i forgot of the outside world. the $2 booz..that was awesome. great stuff overall.
breakfast was a good experience as always. i missed Eco's set again. i think that's probably because he was on at same time as Rory & Gerard? i was able to catch most of Mike's set until they turned the light on. |

yeah Marcello was on the same time as Rory and G...so sad bc i started upstairs then i heard something i needed to hear downstairs...and never made it back up.
At least i was up there a little bit....suckage!
everyone did PHENOMINAL! I was scared at first- as was everyone who drove- as the area was new to me and the HEAVY police presence from the start and crowd on the street a couple blocks down made me concerned for my vehicle
However, there was massive parking everywhere. i parked right in front of the -place. Casey made a good point- if were parked so close and there are so many cops chances are pretty good no one is going to touch our cars. and right he was.
and the cops were you-know-whats at all. Smiles and hellos...they were clearly just there so "we knew" and allowed us to be on with our business. And once i got inside, it was CLEAR there were no cops. everyone was doing whatever they wanted. Not in a bad way- nothing disruptive. But someone asked me if it was my "first rave" i shook my head swiftly to let them know "yes yes yes".
I loved everything about the venue. At first the youngsters had me off a bit, but honestly- toward the end i was happy to see young kids loving the same music i adore. And i thought to myself more then once- where would i be right now had i the privledge these guys do- to have a place to listen and chill to this music. (I grew up in CT so there was no where which is sad)
I met so many people there everyone was so outgoing. the entire night went smoothly and i enjoyed every minute even though i was exhausted! I managed to stay till the end when the FDNY kicked us out...which was a fun ending i must say.
KUDOS to all who organized and worked this event. I will certainly be back next time! |

oooh, I didn't do a writeup either. Whoops. quick & simple: some of the openers, who I didn't know, played...interesting sets that oscillated wildly between every genre you could possibly hear at a club. Casey laid down a really dynamic set like only he can. I caught the beginning & end of Rory & Gerard's set-- they rocked the upstairs room like it was an arena. Marcello absolutely destroyed the main room-- I got positive feedback on the set from all of the people I knew who attended. And it was hilariously fun being on the "stage" while he was playing! Mike was closing the night out in high fashion-- gimme higher BPM!-- until we all got booted at 5. Oh well.
The laid-back feel of the whole night was great-- got to kick it behind the decks with friends without any all-access/VIP fuss. granted, it felt like a high school dance for some of the night because of the really young candy kids, but I can't really point fingers considering my age. It was SO damn good to see so many of you all for the first time since I got back. <3 hope to see y'all again soon! |
