No but seriously I wish I was a couple years older, watching the videos from parties back in the day and reading what you guys write about all the parties and experiences makes me feel like ill never experience parties like you guys have back in the day.

Its all about your take on parties :) Personally, I think the old parties had such a magic, such a VIBE, such an incredible feeling...weekend after weekend. None of the parties today come within miles of comparing, but thats only MY personal opinion only.

I cant say it is what you make them, because I dont believe that idea at ALL. Nothing can compare the feelings I had during the old days of trance, not only the music, but everything put together as a whole was just incredible for me back then (4+ yrs ago to be exact). I rarely go out these days because the overall experience does nothing for me anymore. They are still fun, but they are missing a certain.....something.

I think the new "generation" definitely missed out, but that doesnt mean that there isnt opportunity for incredible parties to present itself in the future :) Here's to hoping you guys get some of what we had, because I would LOVE for anyone to experience what I did! :) :) :) I dont mind sharing ;) ;)

edit: on topic- this also applies to PVD parties, they have lost some of its energy the last few years in comparison to the INCREDIBLE vibes we got in 2005 (ROXY!) and earlier....just my opinion ;)

I think my point is a little lost. That 'thing' that your saying parties today are missing I believe is just a new, exciting feeling that naturally gets lost, almost due to being jaded. Look at us, everyone here is a en trance snob.

:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: haha maybe, but I definitely liked the old music way better, and going to the ROXY and Crobar and Twilo for some (and Guvernment, since thats were I lived during those days) is still way better than going to Webster Hall ;) The vibes in general are totally different to me.

Just my opinion :) wouldnt want this super long thread to be adverted from the original topic anyways, so continue on.... ;) ;)

We've been debating this in the event thread for some time. No use in arguing over it in the rollcall as well. There is conflicting info so we will find out soon enough.

Yes,

Let's say center back bar of the main floor at 11:45 which is a few minutes before PvD should be coming on so we don't get lost in the crowd of youngins racing towards the front of the stage lol

I'll be there. It's been a while since there's been a real TA meet up.

I really hope all that garbage in the top thread about PVD leaving the club at 1am is just a rumor. It will be a total disgrace to his ego if he ditches a sold out big room show to spin for handful of rich snobs at some fancy lounge.

Sorry Tom, no rumor...guess we are gonna have to find an after-party to go to or call it a night pretty early.

Anybody remember PVD at roxy in early 2000's?

I remember leaving at like 730 am after crazy pvd set.
