Screen sharing solutions for a collaboration?

I'm hoping some of you may have done this and could share some possible solutions or ideas.

I have started a collaboration with a friend and I'd like for them to be able to view my screen remotely. I would like the audio to go through the connection (exactly how remote desktop handles audio) and not streamed via a microphone. I'm using a PC and he is using a Mac. We have tried several programs but each one has a hitch we get snagged up on.

So far we have tried:

1. TeamViewer - The best result so far but in order to share audio you must purchase a $750 license.
2. Crossloop - Works great for screen sharing but there is no sound.
3. ScreenStream - Doesn't work that great and again no sound.
4. HD Webcam - Picture and sound are not suitable for our purposes.
5. Accutel Webpresenter - Might work but confusing signup process leaves me thinking its very expensive.

Any ideas or suggestions?

That's a great resource thanks. I'm going to have to try some of these.
