Wed. / Thur. Night Parties (March 23rd/24th) in SoBo need some feeback please..

I hope this thread is allowed.
I am trying to stay in SoBo Wed. and Thur. since I will be in downtown Miami for Ultra and SSFD Fri.-Sun. for the most part.
I really would like to hear some comments, concerns, suggestions on these specific parties listed below please:

I really like any EDM, sorry to be so broad.

| I would say the Joris Voorn rejected showcase would probably be pretty fun, but I'm biased. My preferences lean towards minimal and techno. I just think that Roger Sanchez is cheese, though there are some other great names on that bill. Laidback Luke is just noise to me. But who am I kidding the clicks and beeps and glitch that make me love minimal might be noise to someone else. Download some sets and maybe use that to make your best educated decision? :conf: |

i say mix it up. if you're doing trance on wed then dont do trance on thurs for example. also mix up the venues. spending 3 days at the same venue is pretty retarded unless each of the 3 lineups are that ing spectacular.
out of the ones youve listed i say either moor or emery on wed and bedrock on thurs. nice variety. different venues. will defiantly be a new crowd of people each night so the parties will be totally different. all that leads to a good time imo. but of course pick your parties on what you wanna see and hear and where you wanna go and who ya wanna be with. |

Are we taking bets on if this guy is gonna fall flat on his face at the beginning of the week again like last yr. and ruin his week? :stongue: ...j/k my friend :D Seriously though, If I had to pick from those I'd go w/joris weds. bedrock thurs.
but it's still tooooo early for me. still lots more to be brought out. one i'm especially waiting for is howells. danny is king! :crazy: |

Of the Wed options I'd pick #5, especially since I won't be doing much trance the rest of the week and Gareth is great. But I'm really going to

^^^This is great advice. I'm trying to exercise that best i can. Picking my favorite trance,house,techno,prog,techhouse acts and letting god sort out the details :)
I agree with what most of whats been said. Joris on Wed.. the rest is just noise.
Cant really go wrong with Bedrock on Thurs either. |

hahahahhahaha.... :stongue: The most entertaining part of last year's board was MDTechno meticulously planning what was going to be the greatest week of his life. I assumed it was until returning and being entertained (sorry:( ) by stories of his epic fail.
Seriously, though, good luck to you this year.... and I second the notion that variety, in both genre and venue, is the key. I'd say the suggestion of Emery on Wed and Bedrock on Thurs is a can't miss. There are so many good parties already to pick from, and there will be more, but those two linups are sure to impress. Hope to meet ya this year..... as long as you're not getting sick everywhere. :) |
