TONIGHT is the official Pulse kick-off, I hope some of you will be there to celebrate.
Very nervous, that rarely happens anymore, but that's usually a very good sign. Will deliver ;-)

Holy sh!t, first night of Pulse was phenomenal! Pure magic, crowd was rocking. Absolutely loved every second, can't wait for next month!

I'm really sadden this morning to hear that UN will not go on with the PULSE nights. I have been told that it's not the musical direction they want to take on Fridays, and that some regular customers were unsettled by the music.
I was surprised since I really felt that I played a very good, groovy set. People seemed to enjoy, but I guess it still wasn't mainstream enough.
So I am sad to say that there will no Pulse next month. I really enjoyed the night a lot. Looks like regular club hours are not for me. |

| I don't understand this, Carlo Lio's playing for the second time in a few months and he plays harder then you did last friday. It's unfortunate! I was looking forward to helping you build this night into something special. |

Yes indeed.
Reminds me when I was playing at Resolution, and heard afterwards that what I was playing wasn't commercial enough.
While I was playing, my friend was in the the artist room, where the music was playing, and heard Steve Lawler say to somebody: "This guy is good... he is in good"
But since I am a local, didn't get any credit for it. When Steve Lawler does it, it's all good and everybody goes ape.
So big name = big draw. COuldn't care less if it's hard or not. |
